It occurs to me that my con season is starting to crank up and that I haven’t really posted anything about that. So here we are.
These are all the conventions right now I’m definitely - barring major disaster- going to be at. I’ll add more info if anything else develops.
So if you want to buy artwork, buttons, or commissions from me these are the places you can find me in captivity at.

FOREVER REBLOG. ARTISTS AND VENDORS AVOID AKICON
Just read this feedback thread: http://www.akiconforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=853
AKICON is a scam. They mistreated and overcharged artists and vendors only to stuff them in a leaky, cold garage (along with unsafe…
Never been to this con - not my region of operation. But boy howdy. Reblogging anyway.
This makes MY worst con story sounds laughable and pleasant.
A rough approximation of me in every single damn autograph line ever. I’m sure most folks who’ve signed stuff for me think I’m mentally challenged. Though everyone’s been very nice about it.
There is a very very good reason why I’ve worked cons for like seven years and only got a few autographs in that time span. The reason is not just being too busy to get in line or not caring about the guests.
I’m sorry to anyone whose autograph line I’ve ever darkened. I can speak English I assure you. Thank you for not calling security.
So I’m back from San Japan and returning to my usual hermit routine. To celebrate have some artwork I drew while at the table.
Despite this being an anime con this ended up being the con where “Lissa talked and drew a lot of videogame related stuff”

One of the artists I was sharing a table with is a big pokemon fan - so when I asked for something for me to draw there was the vote for Mewtwo. So here he is drawn mainly from memory from my pokemon addiction when I was 13.

And in reaction to all the TF2 cosplayers and a discussion of the Meet the Team videos a happy rainbow Pyro and Balloonicorn. This one was sold a few hours after I finished it but I at least got a photo of it before it left.
And now for HERP DERP reasons a Spy Pony. Table vote was Spy if he was a pony is most likely a unicorn for reasons. This was colored while standing in a long line while juggling markers and pencils from my pockets to my clipboard to my hand. But I do sort of like how it came out.

Okay con schedule thus far:
Comicpalooza - Houston, Texas - May 25-27th
We’ll once again be braving the wilds of Downtown Houston for this. We’ll be in the Artist Alley, I’ll post more info once I get it. The con will have the voice of Invader Zim and George Takai, so if you don’t care bout us come and see them!
A-Kon - Dallas, Texas - June 1-3rd
(one day we will get out of Texas we swear, but I live here and the state is kinda huge)
We had to fight hundreds of other artists in a secret underground combat ring for this but we DID manage to score a table this year at A-Kon. Not much else to say about this yet, more info on that when I get it.
Okay, I realized that I was actually going to be at my first convention of the year this weekend and hadn’t done a post of my schedule. So lets get that fixed. This year I will be at:
AggieCon - College Station, Texas - March 23-25th
I’ll be in the Dealers Room with the Apprentice. We will be selling prints, buttons, and doing commissions. I also might have some pieces thrown in the art show. So feel free to come by and say hi, I’ll be the red head in the bowler hat.

So a large chunk of my print stock for convention has mysteriously disapeared. Along with the display that goes with it.
I have a convention next week.
This is literally breathtaking.
My friend just sent this to me… wow. Watch until the end.
in 7 years its going to be the 20s again so we can bring back swing music and the aesthetics of that era but keep modern values...
All I can say is that I’m sorry.
